According to The Morrow County Sentinel, a Kenton, Ohio, woman whose son died in the womb on June 19, 2009, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against OB/GYN Specialists of Lima and three of the doctors who work at the health care institution.

The plaintiff, Ashley Diego, alleges that the defendants — Dr. Charles Ryan, Dr. Scott Stallkamp and Dr. James Kahn — were negligent in that they failed to "deliver her son before he outgrew [her] womb and died," states the source. She is reportedly seeking $25,000 in damages, citing medical expenses, funeral costs, mental anguish and emotional distress.

The doctors have denied any wrongdoing, requesting that the action be dismissed.
